International Campaign on the Declaration on the Right to Universal Access to All Forms of Safe and Effective Medicine.
Everyone, everywhere should have universal access to all forms of safe and effective medicine wherever they live and notwithstanding what illnesses they may suffer from.
The right to access all forms of safe and effective medicine is a core component of the internationally recognized right to the highest attainable standard of health. Without full access to all such medicines, the right to the highest attainable standard of health cannot be complied with in full.
This right to access applies to all safe and effective medicines, including psilocybin.
How to Promote the Declaration:
Everyone, everywhere has a role to play in promoting the Declaration and we invite you to assist.
Local Government
We invite you to send the Declaration to your local government, local member of Parliament/Representative and other political bodies and specifically request them to officially endorse the Declaration.
Leaders & Federal Government
We also invite you to send the Declaration to the leader of your country and the government as a whole, in particular to the Ministry of Health, Justice Ministry and other organs of government that may wish to endorse it.
Companies & Associations
Please also consider sending the Declaration to companies, clubs, associations and other groups, requesting that they also endorse the Declaration.
International Agencies
Finally, please send the Declaration to any international agencies requesting them to endorse it.
Endorsing the Declaration.
The Campaign aims to have the largest possible number of individuals, government bodies, organisations, businesses and anyone else to formally endorse the Declaration. We plan to publish the names of all institutions that formally endorse it and to list the total number of individuals who have endorsed this text.
We believe the Declaration and the objectives it seeks to achieve are quite literally matters of life and death.
We have a detailed two-year plan of action in place outlining dozens of international institutions that the Campaign will be urging to formally endorse the Declaration and plan to have representatives of the Campaign present at as many meetings of these institutions as possible.
We will announce one month before each of the relevant meetings takes place how you and your network can assist in gaining ever growing international support for the Declaration.
